bad omens

I believe in bad omens. The Yankees starting Carl Pavano opening day feels like one of them. Didn't he miss a whole season because he hurt his ass? Hasn't he made a shitload of money doing absolutely nothing over the past couple years? I'd rather see Cory Lidle pitch opening day... Is Ugueth Urbina available??? Why don't they go find Sydney Ponson again, that worked out so fucking great last year...
