struggling for a split
Mussina won his eleventh, which really could have been his 13th or 14th. He really has been THAT good and deserves to be on the all star team. The rest of the team is just a mess, a mixture of old timers and triple A stars of tomorrow. It is incredibly frustrating to follow, and Mariano didn't make it any better on Saturday, but the real problem is that you can't pitch him once a week and expect him to look sharp. So tonight we have a Boston old timer going against another Yankees triple A star of tomorrow. We'll see...

good call on the split. can't help but miss the old yankee superpower days when they just signed whomever won the mvp the year before. anyways.
