Crying and masturbating never summed up an event better than that close-out ceremony. Yankee Stadium is
baseball mecca though so it deserves all the sappy media crap that comes with its closure. The Yankees are the best franchise in sports (which makes it a pleasure to be their underdog rival). The second greatest, the Boston Celtics, tore down the Garden over ten years ago. It was never the same.
