Mike Lowell gets his 1500th hit, then gets tossed...smooth move unpires, seems like we're getting all the umpires I never heard of lately.
The real story is Beckett going 7 2/3 innings of phenomenal breaking stuff and pinpoint
94 mph fastballs. He was really a blast to watch.
Another thing...I would love to have Miguel Cabrera on our team.
Oh and papi even had some nice at bats...is his career NOT over? funny to see Tek just killing the ball this year, after we all thought HE was done last year.

1. i'm sick of people getting worked up over no hitters in the 7th inning, it is not substantial until 2 outs in the 9th, no hits in the 7th is just a pitcher doing his job. it happens 10 times a day.
2. espn is silly, drug fiend ortiz had one hit and they said he had just turned his season around.
3. i love the fact that you can still "have a blast", that is a fantastic phrase and btw- what fucking century are you from.
4. red sox still in 2nd and falling back fast. (a quick check of the standings shows they are tied for 1st)
5. Wang starts today, i think i am leaving myself open to attack...
